Message	it seems to me that they aren't really worth the extra money. Sure they help reduce boost threshold by a few hundred RPM, but you do really limit your options when upgrading your turbos if you only want ball bearing turbos. I don't have all the answers, I'm mostly just restating what a friend of mine believes about BB turbos. He owned a TTZ for about 5 years, and then bought a MK4 Supra which he has since done all the work on and dynos 740rwhp. He knows more about turbochargers than any other person I know, and when he explains something on a forum in a post, he makes Ash's posts look like Cliff's Notes. He's the kinda person you can almost believe blindly when he states something. If the owners of Titan Motorsports and Jesus Rivera listen to his opinions, I sure as hell will. But as far as BB turbos on a Z, they'd probably make more of an impact than they would on a car like the Supra in which case most large singles don't make boost till about 4500rpm anyways. I could try looking for his post about BB turbos on one of the local racing message boards, but I doubt I'll find it.
